Hi there!

My name is Jarosław Szmigielski, and I’m student of Informatics at Gdańsk University of Technology, faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics. I’m also making internship in Intel company.

At work, I’m programming practically in C#, ASP.NET, SQL and Python, sometimes in other languages like Java or Groovy. I used to program in VB6 and PHP but it was long time ago 😉

I live in Poland but I have Ukrainian nationality. I’m speaking in Polish, Ukrainian, English and also learning Italian. I listen to all kinds of music, especially Ukrainian dance and folk.

My passion is volleyball. I used to play it a lot but now my study and work takes me too much time to play frequently. I miss it a lot 🙁

I poses a great device called Raspberry Pi. On this blog I will try to write, besides of general IT posts, some useful information about my “adventures” with it. Since I bought it (July 2012) it gave me a lot of fun and taught a lot of different things.
